About Us

Born in 2009 from the dark side of skateboarding, Demon Seed draws inspiration from the underground spirit of the '80s. Bold graphics, raw creativity, and always skater-owned—this is our story.

How it all started!

Back in 2009, skateboarding felt like it was stuck in a rut—or at least that's how I saw it. My name is Wade Ulrich, and that's when I started Demon Seed Skateboards.

I grew up skating in the '80s, a time when every new graphic carried excitement and anticipation. By the late 2000s, the market seemed flooded with bland logo decks and uninspired designs. I missed the raw creativity and the darker, grittier side of skateboarding culture. Demon Seed was born from that love of the underground. Inspired by icons like Zorlac and Pushead, our mission has always been to push bold, boundary-breaking graphics and support riders who embody skateboarding's true spirit. Over the years, we've had some incredibly influential riders and artwork that kept that fire alive.

In 2020, the world hit pause with the pandemic, and so did Demon Seed. That's when I passed the torch to Christian Frazier, one of our original team riders. With Christian at the helm, the brand entered a new chapter— staying true to its roots “Florida's Swamp Company” is a reflection of both our new identity and the gritty, unfiltered culture we represent. Through every twist and turn, one thing has never changed: Demon Seed has always been, and always will be, skater-owned and operated. Skateboarding is in our blood. We're grateful for everyone who has supported us along the way, and we're stoked for this new chapter. Hopefully, you'll be a part of the ride.
